Freetown, an exciting urban live band that draw their style from Ska, Rocksteady, Street and Reggae, a band that makes you want to dance and party. The rhythm section features Jah Bunny on drums, a gifted Jamaican drummer and percussionist who is one of the finest exponents of Reggae in the world today and whose past hits include albums and singles recorded with artists as diverse as Linton Kwesi Johnson and Paul McCartney.
Freetown cross musical boundaries and that will be featured on their forthcoming album, ‘Swimming the Atlantic’, which displays a wealth of musical influences including: Dance, Dub, Jazz, Reggae, Rock and Afro rhythms together with a flair for mainstream flavas pop. Freetown have been together over ten years and have performed worldwide and are planning a nationwide tour this summer to promote their album.
